Sone skin recipes; ill keep updating this.

I got an awesome face mask recipe
it sounds weird but its good for oily skin it tightens your pores.
Your face may get super red after thats why you should do it before bed
and try it out on your hand so you don't get an allergic reaction but i have really sensitive skin and it didn't harm mine.

1/4 teaspoon yeast (the kind in packets)
3 tablespoons warm water not hot
and 1 teaspoons honey and more before applying

mix yeast to warm water mix it lightly with fork
add 1tsp of the honey and let the concoction sit at room temperature for an hour
then refrigerate. Before use add a little more honey about a teaspoon i also microwave it for a couple seconds and apply it on a clean face (make up free) cover face with mask try to avoid the under eye area because its really delicate, leave it on for 20 min then wash off massaging it in a circular motion. You can keep this in a container in your fridge for a month.

You know what is Beautiful

Sitting here on my dads hospital bed and listening to a doctor talking to our neighbor about God and it makes me smile! it makes me smile knowing that there are doctors who aren't afraid to proclaim that God is   in control , that no matter how bad the test results are no matter what the doctors say God is in control !he prayed for the guy next door who has lymphoma cancer i over heard :x but wow i was smiling and he was walking out and says you look so happy your smiling, and that makes me smile when people trust in God! so awesome we need more doctors like that !

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned,[a] but have not love, it profits me nothing.
4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there aretongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.
11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.
13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13

This recipe looks yummy.

Pumpkin Scones with Spiced Glaze

Yield: 12 scones
For the Scones:
2 cups all-purpose flour
7 Tablespoons granulated sugar
1 Tablespoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
¼ teaspoon ground cloves
¼ teaspoon ground ginger
6 Tablespoons cold butter
½ cup canned pumpkin
3 Tablespoons half-and-half
1 large egg
For the Powdered Sugar Glaze:
1 cup plus 1 Tablespoon powdered sugar
2 Tabelspoons milk
For the Spiced Glaze:
1 cup plus 3 Tablespoons powdered sugar
2 Tablespoons milk
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 pinch ground ginger
1 pinch ground cloves
1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
2. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and ginger in a large bowl. Use a fork to cut the butter into the dry ingredients until mixture is crumbly and no chunks of butter are obvious; set aside.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the pumpkin, half-and-half and egg. Fold wet ingredients into dry ingredients, and form the dough into a ball. Pat out dough onto a lightly floured surface and form it into a 1-inch thick rectangle about 3 times as long as wide. Use a large knife or a pizza cutter to slice the dough twice through the width, making three equal portions. Cut each of the portions in an X pattern (four pieces) so you end up with 12 triangular slices of dough. Place on prepared baking sheet. Bake for 14-16 minutes, or until light brown. Place on wire rack to cool.
4. To make the powdered sugar glaze, mix the powdered sugar and milk together until smooth. When scones are cool, use a brush to spread plain glaze over the top of each scone.
5. To make the spiced glaze, while the powdered sugar glaze is firming, combine all of the ingredients for the spiced glaze. Drizzle over each scone and allow the icing to dry before serving (about an hour).

APPLE PIE. num num num

Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 Basic Flaky Pie Crust (see below)
  • 1/4 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp freshly grated ginger or 1 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Pinch kosher salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) cold unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 2 lb Jonagold, Ida Red or Golden Delicious apples (about 4 large), peeled and sliced 1/2 in. thick
  • 1 lb Granny Smith apples (about 2 large), peeled and sliced 1/2 in. thick
  • 2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch

Recipe Preparation

  1. Heat oven to 375°F. On a lightly floured surface, roll the disk of dough into a 12-in. circle. Fit it into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-in. pie plate. If necessary, trim the dough so the overhang is even all the way around (about 1/2 in. from the edge of the pie plate). Fold the overhang under itself to create a thicker rim of dough and crimp as desired (see suggestions, below). Refrigerate until ready to fill.
  2. In a food processor, pulse the brown sugar, ginger, cinnamon and salt to combine. Add the flour and pulse to incorporate. Add the butter and pulse just until the mixture forms large clumps. Transfer to a bowl and gently toss with the oats; refrigerate until ready to use.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the apples with the lemon juice. Add the granulated sugar and cornstarch and toss to coat. Transfer the apples to the pie crust. Top with the crumb mixture and bake for 1 hour. Cover with foil and bake until the apples are tender (use a wooden pick to check doneness) and the topping is golden brown, 18 to 22 minutes more. Let stand for at least 1 hour before serving. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Beautiful.

Matthew 6:33

So this morning i woke up a little late and didn't pray but instead went downstairs when i could have prayed for even five minutes i did in the car for a quick second and went on with my day (i worked 7-3) my day started good i was really tired but that was all my fault cause i stayed up way to late, so i was grumpy :( hmmm. then things were happening that i didn't have strength to concur (one of the patients who is 93 was being a 93 year old...i still love him though) and then it will downhill from there i was getting so frustrated and everyone was bothering me so i went into the bathroom and prayed and from then on i felt so much better i felt like God just breathed strength into me, like wow prayer is so import ant we cannot do anything on our own there is no way ! like and sometimes i have days where i went a day without reading the Bible those days feel like i went on a long fast and my soul feels so weak and once i open the Bible i feel so much relief and every worry and burden disappears and i have noticed that if i pray before i spend time reading or actually praying..kinda weird but seriously God blesses me so much! i just pray a quick prayer like "Father i am taking time to seek you through your word i ask that you bless me take away every worry sanctify my mind so that my focus is on you and listening to your voice as you speak to me i ask that you humble and change me through your word may it bring forth fruit in my life" like maybe its not perfect but whatever is on my heart i say sometimes its hard to even think of anything to ask for cause my mind is so crowded with things of this world, but like even then  i just close my eyes and wait for words to come. God is so Good and may He help us always seek Him always nourish our souls with His word.
